IdlFlo (pronounced ‘Idle Flow’) is an all-originals rock act based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Founded in 2019 by the songwriting tandem of brothers Derek (guitar/vocals) and Lee Smith (guitar) and filled out with the additions of Robin Hatterschide (drums/vocals) and Bill Hipps (bass/vocals), the group blends catchy riffs, hard-hitting rhythms, big harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics into an engaging dynamic loud/soft style.

While developing material together, COVID hit so the group made the best of things and from a tough situation rose a great new sound with fresh material.

IdlFlo started tracking at Winterland and Logic Studios to record their debut effort with renowned engineer Brian Bart in Spring 2021 and will release material starting in May.
