Originally from California, Amie started singing when she was listening to her Dad’s records as a child. Amie grew up knowing she was a performer and lived on a stage as a dancer, singer and cheerleader. She started writing songs on a lark while living in San Antonio, Texas working at Fiesta Texas as a singer/dancer/actress. She learned how to strum a few guitar chords and made her first demo. Not long after making a few originals she took her kinetic live set to Little Rock, Arkansas. Amie honed her vocal skills attending University of Arkansas at Little Rock Theatre School and performing in musical theatre where she toured for a good while as a multi-talented performer. While taking a few years off from the stage to birth and feed her only son she wrote with friends and colleagues. Collaborating with local and national musicians she came up with an eclectic repertoire of songs. Moving from all original bands to a Led Zeppelin tribute band, Amie defied genres and brought them all together electrically charged. Ultimately creating her own set of shape-shifting, genre defying music, Amie released an intense set of singles ranging from Metal to Folk.
Amie has been nominated for Arkansas Rock Band of the Year 2021, Best Vocalist, Best of the Best Hot Springs 2021. Her music has been placed in film three times and writing more for film. Amie has brought her genre-bending sensibility to her new band where she incorporates Americana, Rock, Blues, Country and Folk all into one complete four hour set. But despite the intentional shape-shifting, Amie is currently working on her first EP with DIEHLER, audio engineer out of Las Vegas, Nevada which will be released end of July 2021. The album sound is a mix of EDM, Trap, Rock, Downtempo and especially her first love, Theatre. Highly theatrical, Amie’s ultimate goal is to give the crowd what they want and shape-shift for them every time. She can do it all and she has a knack for blending and bending genres together. Amie’s output of music remains consistent in her lyrical skill. An undeniable force that drives her love of language into every song she creates.
