Female-fronted band Slaney Bay are hitting the indie music scene with full force. Exploring the whole indie-alternative genre, this trio of childhood friends intricately fuse soft, introspective lyrics with soaring, ear-worm guitar riffs. Formed in the lockdown era of 2020, the Surrey-based band brings palpable enthusiasm and excitement to their live shows. With delicate vocals reminiscent of Daughter, and euphoric solos capturing the essence of The War on Drugs, the band were deemed as ‘One to Watch for 2022’ by Modern Age Music. After only three gigs, Slaney Bay performed to a sold-out venue showcasing 2022’s upcoming talent.
