I am a one-person DIY musician in Pittsburgh, PA. My day job is in the sciences, and much of my music is influenced by my experiences in that hypercompetitive arena. I have intensified my songwriting and recording efforts in the pandemic, which has been hugely rewarding and self-medicating. I am greatly influenced by the indie folk/americana acts like Conor Oberst/Bright Eyes, Wilco and Jake Bellows to name a few. My tracks most often have a self-reflective nature and I play all the instruments. During the pandemic, I have been playing every week at the Hambone's Virtual Open Mic, which includes musicians and an audience from all over the world (http://hambonesopenmic.com/).
