I have been involved with music throughout my life, with a broad love of many genres, but I lean mostly to pop music. My writing reflects this, although in a fairly eclectic manner, but mainly I want to produce songs that highlight my lyrics.
Lyrics are the favourite part of a song for me, the start point and the end goal. The music is the bonus that wraps everything up and creates the 3 minutes or so story in a dramatic way. I love that songs can provide a whole story in such a short span of time.
I am planning to self-release two albums in 2023. Snap! will be an album of older songs, re-recorded to sound fresh and streaming ready, but with an 80’s retro feel. Crackle! will follow later in the year and be a set of current songs.
