Max Boost is the alter ego of one Brian Andrew Maxwell. An unassuming scientist by day, a loving husband and father, he occasionally takes on the mantel of Max Boost in order to craft sonic escapades through various emotional landscapes encountered while journeying along the trails and tributaries of life.

The debut album from Max Boost, "From this Place to the Other" spans several genres including acoustic folk, heavy rock and even a first foray into EDM, but is thematically linked as it details a metaphorical journey across land and sea from an old place of restlessness in the materialistic world to a new realm of tolerance and acceptance. The album was self-released in May 2021, and is available for streaming or download everywhere, and on a limited-edition CD available at www.maxboostandthepowerups.com or Amazon. Max Boost is currently working on making music videos for several songs on this album, gearing up to transition his music into live performances and working on a follow-up single.
