McDead is from Colchester (UK) making alternative and experimental music in Belgrade Serbia and Melbourne, Australia.

An accidental producer with a PhD in Archaeology, McDead’s work is usually built around drones guitars and a lot of risky musical experimentation with odd instruments and field samples. Strange songs, sounds and inspirations are drawn from many adventures led by a fierce imagination. Psychedelic rock, IDM, Shoegaze, Post-punk, and Irish folk influences result in unique songs and sound design.

The first McDead album is out now on digital and on heavyweight vinyl (180 grams, Zenith Records), recorded at Plastic Jungle Records, produced by the legendary Will Casserly, and epically mastered by Erik Scerba in Melbourne Australia. The first limited edition purple vinyl run has sold out - but more are being pressed at Zenith Records ready for release... whenever McDead gets back to Melbourne from Belgrade Serbia.
