This song is about believing in yourself and pressing on with your dream despite external negativity.
It is inspired by Stan Lees story about his Spiderman character.
Some people told him it would never work, but he pressed on regardless and the rest is history.
The lesson of the story is to have belief in your 'designs' even in the face of sceptics.
