Whizz For Atoms exploded on the UK music scene with a high profile signing to Graduate Records (the label that launched UB40 on the path to international stardom) in the summer of 1984
TV appearances & air play on national and international stations followed along with rave reviews in the national music press
John Peel of BBC Radio 1 selected them to appear on ‘Best of British Bands’ to be released in the USA
The band also enjoyed a very successful touring career around the clubs, colleges and universities of the UK music scene, appearing at famous venues such as, London’s Marquee Club and Rock Garden plus Bath’s prestigious Moles Club and Nottingham’s Rock City
Now after a somewhat lengthy break, 35 years to be exact, they are back with a brand new single "Touch With Love", written about the emerging computer/video dating industry of the 1980s but still ringing true now more than ever as more & more people use dating sites and apps in an attempt to find love!
The song was recorded during lockdown from locations as far apart as the UK, Fiji & Australia, where the members now live then brought together to be mixed and mastered.
